I'm just putting the finishing touches to the drawing (cropped) below taken from an old family photograph. You'll have to excuse the poor quality of the image - the paper is actually pure white. It's taking a lot longer to do than I imagined it would, partly because the photograph is very old and damaged, and partly because there are deep shadows which hide some of the essential details. Despite this, I've enjoyed watching a character emerging from the blank paper...
