New Project

I was listening to the radio yesterday and happened to hear an inspiring interview with a very talented Kiwi designer Emma Rogan who began the inspiring The 100 Days Project The idea is that you make a committment to do one creative thing everyday, it could be dancing, writing, walking, painting - anything at all. You also need to keep a record of your progress. A group of people are currently 33 days into the project and already have a substantial body of work to show for their efforts.

I've been feeling a bit lacklustre recently and decided that starting my own project would be a really good way to get through the mid-winter blues. Thank you Emma :) I began a new Savoy (cabbage) leaf study later yesterday and dutifully wrote a short paragraph about it - not something I usually do I have to say. It'll be very interesting to see what happens during the following 99 days and I'll keep you posted. If any one else decides to do the same, let me know how you get on. It'd be great to swap notes.
